【摘要】:Fractographyisoftenusedtohelpidentifytheeventsthathaveresultedinthefractureofaglassobject.Thispracticedefinestheappearanceofvariousfracturesurfacefeatures,aswellastheirmethodofformation.Thus,therecanbeacommonunderstandingoftheirrelationshiptothefractureprocessaswellasacommonterminology.1.1Fracturefeaturesonthesurfaceofacrackreflectthenatureandcourseofthefractureeventassociatedwiththebreakageofaglassobject.Thispracticeisaguidetotheidentificationandinterpretationofthesefracturesurfacefeatures.1.2Thepracticedescribesthevariousfracturesurfacefeaturesastotheirappearance,theprocessofformationandtheirsignificance.1.3Thepracticedoesnotprovidetheproceduralinformationnecessaryforacompletefractographicanalysis.Suchinformationisavailableinthegeneralliterature.(SeeGlossaryforsuggestedliterature).
