【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansofmeasuringthetime-of-travelofwaterandwaterbornesolutesbytheuseofdyetracersandtracingtechniques.ThistestmethodissimilartomethodsdevelopedbytheU.S.GeologicalSurveyanddescribedinotherreferenceddocuments.1.2Thistestmethoddescribesthedyetracers,measuringequipmentused,andfieldandlaboratoryprocedurescustomarilyused.1.3Thistestmethoddescribesthemethodsoftracerstudyanalysisanddatapresentation.1.4Theuserofthistestmethodshouldaddressthefollowingconcernsregardingtheuseoftracersinwaterbodies:1.4.1Determinewhetherthechemicalhasclearanceorapprovalorhaspotentialorpreceivedimpactsrelatingtopotable,industrial,irrigation,orfishandwildlifeuse.1.4.2Determinewhetherapprovalsarerequiredbyinvolvedagencies.1.4.3Documentcontactsregardingnotification.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsexceptforchemicalconcentrationsandliquidvolumesforstepdilutions,whicharestatedinSIunits,aretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatements,seeSection9.
