【摘要】:ThistestmethodprovidesreasonablyaccurateinformationwithregardtotheabilityofUVcuringadhesivestowithstandtorsionalshearingforces.Itmaybeusedtodeterminetheeffectofenvironmentontorsionalshearstrength.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthesimplisticcomparisonofstrengthsofglass/metaljointswhentheadhesiveiscuredbyultraviolet(UV)radiationandstandardspecimensareusedandtestedunderspecifiedconditionsofpreparation,radiation,andload.1.2ThistestmethodinvolvestorqueloadingUV-bondedhexagonalmetalblockstoglassplates.1.3Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoobtaincomparativetorquestrength-to-failuredataforotherbondedjointsystems,radiationcuredornot.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
