【摘要】:ThispartofISO10893specifiesrequirementsfortheautomatedultrasonicshearwave(generatedbyconventionalorphasedarraytechnique)testingoftheweldseamofsubmergedarc-welded(SAW)orelectricresistanceandinduction-welded(EW)steeltubes.ForSAWtubes,thetestcoversthedetectionofimperfectionsorientedpredominantlyparalleltoor,byagreement,perpendiculartotheweldseamorboth.ForEWtubes,thetestcoversthedetectionofimperfectionsorientedpredominantlyparalleltotheweldseam.Inthecaseoftestingonlongitudinalimperfections,Lambwavetestingcanbeappliedatthediscretionofthemanufacturer.ForthedetectionofimperfectionsattheweldseamofEWtubes,fullperipheralultrasonictestingispossible.ThispartofISO10893canalsobeapplicabletothetestingofcircularhollowsections.NOTEForfullperipheralultrasonictestingofseamlessandwelded(exceptSAW)tubes,seeISO10893-10.
